Where Wood Meets Imagination
Our Mission
At Waverly Woodcrafts our mission is to create meaningful one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate life’s moments and inspire connection. Through handcrafted woodworking, custom wood burning, and interactive classes, we aim to blend artistry with purpose – bringing warmth, beauty and lasting memories into every home!
Origin
Waverly Woodcrafts began when Sarah decided her plain bathroom needed a little “oomph.” One project led to another, until she found herself building a wooden stepstool for the half bath—and from that simple project, Waverly Woodcrafts was born.
Sarah quickly discovered her love of power tools and the joy of transforming imperfect pieces of wood into beautiful creations like geometric wall art and decorative serving trays. Before long, her passion grew to include pyrography (woodburning), where she now spends most of her creative energy.
While she still enjoys the hands-on challenge of woodworking, pyrography gives Sarah the ability to blend artistry with family life—allowing her to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces while spending more time with her children. Each piece she makes carries that same spark of creativity that first began in her home, turning simple wood into timeless keepsakes.

Sarah Braddell was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where she continues to call home. For the past decade, she has devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mom to her three children — a role that has shaped her patience, creativity, and resilience. In recent years, she began working part-time from home, a path that offers the flexibility to balance both family and career.
In 2022, Sarah followed her curiosity and creative instincts to launch Waverly Woodcrafts. What began with a “how hard can it be?” mindset quickly grew into a true passion. With a love for working with her hands, she discovered joy in woodworking and pyrography, transforming raw materials into meaningful art and keepsakes. For Sarah, Waverly Woodcrafts is more than a business—it’s an outlet, a source of inspiration, and a way to share her love of handmade artistry with others while still being present for the most important part of her life: her family.
